Though in reality, she has stepped up more than once to fulfill Cedric’s duties as regent. And She has done so well that Cedric has asked her to take care on more than one occasion so that he can take care of his other duties (and ‘hobbies’).
Delilah’s marriage with Cedric is arranged, but it has developed into a relationship where they are good friends with benefits (though they each have their own preferences). They have more than one bedroom if anyone comes over. Delilah herself acts more reserved and kindhearted, holding up the visage of a noblewoman. But in reality, she just wants a quiet life and tends to her gardens.
