2024-08-15 16:33:41 +0000 UTCJennie’s totally right! Indian Love Call by Slim Whitman was the song that blew up the aliens. Tom Jones sings at the end of the movie, in the desert I think. Also deff was picking up what y’all were laying down about the Rob Schneider thing. That Elle King performance was nuts. Terry Bradshaw is another Masked Singer connection - he was back on season 1! Wasn’t huge on this compilation - a little bloated, oh well. Maybe if it wasn’t so soon after Chuck Berry week it’d be a different story. Anyway, It was cool to hear a proper recording of Jambalaya on the Bayou because the Carpenter’s version is not great. Thank you for powering through the technical difficulties and bringing another great ep - and if Jennie wants to come on every week it’s totes fine :) Especially if it means more Cole Porter talk
