Update about the future of this page and important questions for you. Please read!
Added 2021-02-20 13:44:56 +0000 UTCOkay so as you've all noticed, I've been pretty slow with updates on here lately. I've listed reasons in the past (YouTube being icky, having tons of commissions and trying to balance that and YouTube, etc). In all honesty (and I hope it doesn't come off as whining), it's been pretty hard to just churn out multiple songs almost every week for these platforms. And with the YouTube taking a nosedive again for who knows what reason, my motivation to continue content on there is dwindling.
I'm not planning on stopping, but I may need to spend less time on that channel. BUT then comes an issue. Not uploading there means less income from there and more importantly, less income from here. I never make a deal about money, but this is my job for now unless commissions truly take off. So I have a question for you guys:
How would you feel if I sometimes charged for a new full fledged original, even if it wasn't going to be a video on youtube? It would still be a weekly thing and all the other rewards would be intact. I'd just be charging for the song instead of a YouTube video. And if I don't upload anything, you still won't be charged.
This also raises the exclusivity for a bit. Because it wouldn't be released to YouTube for viewers at the start (although I'd probably put them up on stores with a timed release window in mind). The only issue that comes from this is the fact I'd eventually use some of these originals to make video content for youtube. But then would you be fine with me charging for those too? I'm not sure if that's super fair. So maybe if that were to happen, I'd try finding an alternative for all of you (unless you're right with a paid post for the editing and commentary of a video for a song you may already have?)
Anyways, be comepletely honest and tell me what you think. Positives and Criticisms! For the record, this probably won't be as severe as you think. I still want to upload to YouTube as much as I can (as long as I'm feeling like I can put effort it). This is mostly for when I can't get something out in time.

I'm totally okay with it. I'm sure that it's more than hard making so much content. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I'm absolutely fine with you charging me my normal monthly even if I don't necessarily get anything out of it. I want to support you and your work because I love and believe in what you're doing :D
2021-02-21 00:07:33 +0000 UTCI don't know what it looks like on your side of things, but I can already guess that being on so many platforms and being expected to make content for every one of them is no small feat. If you see this plan working out, I'll support you all the way. It's awesome to see that you are still motivated to make it even farther and that you are looking ahead. If you ever need any help, I'm certain that some people here would be happy to offer more than just money. Thank you for all that you do, and the update!
2021-02-20 23:20:54 +0000 UTCI'm here to support with what I can afford, so I'm setting the limit myself anyways. A monthly subscription perhaps, not depending on videos, might be alright for many others here, too! So, do what feels right, what takes the stress off of you, and what you think ensures that you have a roof over your head, food on the table, and running warm water! I think it's good that you're worrying about these things, though. Please don't let it run your life, but please don't ever lose it altogether. It's approachable and humane, and everything can be solved by asking and talking about such things. (>.o)b
2021-02-20 22:41:35 +0000 UTCI wouldn't mind even if you changed the format to monthly payment and did a song or a video or anything you wanted during the month. I'm here to support you and your career in whatever format that you feel inspired to pursue!

2021-02-20 20:09:09 +0000 UTCI don’t do my job for free, and you shouldn’t either! What you do is hard work and you deserve to be paid for it. Which reminds me, I should raise my cap on monthly support. I can afford it and you deserve it. (Edit: done. Sorry for not thinking to do that sooner.) Are the videos preferable? Sure. Are they the only thing you deserve to be paid for? Absolutely not! Your music is great. And honestly I wouldn’t feel cheated at all if you gave us a song one week and then used that song in a vid next week—your videos are hilarious and they take real effort to make! Basically, don’t feel bad about doing what you need to do. There’s a reason why we support you, and you don’t have to hold up a self-imposed unsustainable standard in order for us to keep on loving you and your work!

2021-02-20 17:17:56 +0000 UTCCharge me daddy~ (seriously, I don't mind. I don't support you for no reason.)
2021-02-20 17:05:56 +0000 UTCI don't mind being charged for whatever songs go out when. from what i can tell you're still planning on week by week-ing it as much as you can but trying to maximize profits. incentivizes more on supporting for more music making and doesn't seem to come off as greedy. you seem to have thought out the future plan for this so i do hope it works out. Best of luck shady '-'>

2021-02-20 14:03:03 +0000 UTCI don’t mind at all, please do whatever you feel is best! I enjoy your music regardless of if it’s in video form of not so I would be more than happy to go either way! Hope everything with the channel works out, though! If you need to spend less time to clear your mind and get the creativity flowing, please do! Keep up the good work, dude, big fan! 😊👌
