New Companion for Non Mon

A long standing complaint of Non Monstrum is lack of a starting companion, making the game before Quinn rather tricky.

So here is a question, since I am remaking the game should I add in a totally new character to act as a starting character. It would change the early story a bit, with Lily now having a tag long from the get go, but I will do my best to make to keep the story as untainted as possible without having the character totally ghost it way though.

 So what do you think?

Hahahaha πŸ˜† great minds think alike

I already have an idea, though it is similar surprisingly.

You save it from the bandit camp in the beginning where it was abandoned by its master when you chase after pinky.

Why not a Flesh Golem is a artificial monster made up of other human body parts it easy to give it both genders.

And make them another dickgirl! We need MOAR!

Yes!

I think it would be better to leave Angel where she is at the moment.

I had a thought, one thing you could probably do would be to have the Angel be an optional early companion. When lily goes to the market for the first time an event could happen where the guards are harassing the Angel for being in the market area instead of the poor area. Lily can intervene and help the Angel out. When the guards leave, the Angel thanks her and apologizes for the trouble. The Angel starts to leave toward the poor quarter, and Lily asks her where she is going. They talk for a bit and then Angel tells Lily that she came to the market to beg for money. Lily then gets the option to give her money or tell her that she doesn't have any at the moment. If she gives money then the Angel responds like she would in the poor quarter with some extra dialogue for the event. The next morning the Angel will show up at the front door of the house Lily was in and ask to join her. If Lily doesn't give her money, the Angel will appear as she does currently in the game in the poor quarter and players will get the same dialogue as they did before and recruit the Angel the same way they did before. If you did this, you wouldn't have to go too crazy trying to rewrite the entire beginning of the game to add an extra character in to the plot so early. If not, I don't think anyone would mind having an extra character to fool around with. Just an idea that popped into my head when I saw the poll this morning.
