Hi all. I've been quiet for a while, mostly because I was busy moving my modding PC and my simracing rig back to my old flat in Slovakia after spending 3 years in Poland. I am back home, everything is set to normal operation mode and I am ready do to some modding again :)
Couple of weeks before I left Poland, I saw an onboard video from this year from my favourite track - Slovakia Ring and I noticed that the kerbs were repainted again. This time it is white-blue-red combination, which resembles Slovak national colors. I wanted to keep my track up to date so I contacted my friend at Slovakia Ring and asked some documents or pictures where I could see what was changed. I was given quite detailed photos from a drone, high res, good quality, so I checked the model and realised that it won't be as easy as the repaint from 2023. My UV mapping was done in a way where different colors were in pair, like blue-yellow-blue-yellow. But this time it was different. It was something like white-blue-white-red... so totally different pattern. I realized that it will be quite difficult to change it, but I did it. Manually. Had to check every kerb cluster and manually adjust the UV mapping to match new pattern. It took a while but I managed to do it. But lost the option to do old paint schemes as skins in the process...

When I finished the kerbs, I had to rework some textures and adjust some materials, but when I finished, I saw another video - an onboard video from a Rally event at Slovakia Ring from 2023. This track is multi-purpose track and a lot of different motosport events are held here, like drift, rally, hillclimb... even a bicycle race... And I planned to do some rally stages basically since the beginning so I checked the video again, realised it is doable and started to play...

Original rally video which was my inspiration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qcfVoRrWME
Recent CSP update brought rally copilot app and special rally mode to the sim, so you can try this track in this mode. Since this rally stage is almost fully on asphalt, you dont need any special rally car, normal tyres or slicks will do fine.
When I finished with this, I was still thinking about adding one more thing - karting track. It was quite requested feature when my first version of the track came out, but I was too busy to focus on it and I was not into karting anyway so I asked my friend Tomas "Momo" Valent whether he would be interested in doing the karting layout. He said yes and he prepared some initial version of the karting layout but then he gave up a little on this project and it was sitting unfinished in my PC for months. So I talked to him and he agreed that I will finish at least Variant 1 which is most commonly used. So it took a while and I prepared something which in my opinion will be nice addition to go-karting in AC.

Couple of days ago I was personally at Slovak Karting Center and drove rental cars around, so I tried to make the karting track as accurate as possible. Big thanks to Momo for doing the hard work and modeling the karting track, I just did some tweaks here and there and added some stuff which was missing in Momos version. I hope you guys will enjoy it.
Full changelog for v. 1.7:
fixed wrong surface definitions (removed dust and vibrations where it was incorrectly assigned)
reworked kerbs and some track parts to 2024 visuals
reworked water barriers in variant 3 (T1) and variant 4 (T3) to be physical objects instead of static (concrete) barriers
reworked some textures and track mesh to utilize new layouts
added borders to asphalt roads (thx Digga)
added 2023 Rally layout
added Karting arena variant 1 layout
There were a lot of small tweaks here and there which I don't even remember, maybe you guys will notice :D

This update is not 100% finished yet, I need to do some more testing, maybe some AI tweaks will be needed, I just need a little more time. But I decided to give you guys the preview version of this update, to try it before full release. If you will find something worth fixing, let me know :)
I suggest to delete old track and do clean install for this update to get rid of all clutter. I prefer doing manual installation, CM is not very reliable...
