2 years ago I was asked to organize an Octavia Cup autumn season in our local community. At that time, Custom Shaders patch and extended physics was "hot stuff" in the AC scene, so I wanted to use all possible features which were available at that time. But to get advantage of the stuff like live weather and wet racing, I decided to modify at that time already 4 years old Octavia Cup to be able to run wet and night races. And while I was messing with some extended physics stuff, I reviewed almost every aspect of the physics of the car, so basically the version which we used in the final season in 2022 was completely reworked. Every important part was improved. Engine, aero, suspension... I even optimized the model further to get some needed FPS in bad weather condition... Basically new mod.

I can tell that the championship was very succesfull. You can see the screenshots, it was epic. People loved the car, loved the ffb, handling, we had full grid almost the whole season. We even had couple of wet races, night race at Poznan... I can consider this time a golden era in our AC community racing. Only thing which bothered us was that CSP generated wet tyres were not heating up in dry conditions and were as fast as slicks. But we risked it and used them anyways.

Then Ilja (CSP creator) decided to rework the rain system. Since then, I did tons of test and found out that the weather system is quite unreliable and buggy, even hard to configure properly, so I refused to do any wet races. What a shame. But I hope that one day, it will be all fixed and we can enjoy wet races in community racing again.

To be honest, I don't exactly remember what I have done on the 2019 version, but here are some highlights:

added headlights for night and wet racing
added support for extended physics brakes
added support for extended tyres raytracing
optimized meshes across all LODs
reworked aero to more accurate version
reworked suspension with more accurate data
improved tyre model (added some vanilla and CSP advanced features)

This car was used only in our community and was never published anywhere, but I guess you guys deserve to try it and taste latest version of the car. Consider it as a gift for my first 100 patreon members :)

This mod is a standalone mod and won't overwrite publicly available Octavia Cup 2018 2.2 mod. The mod does not contain skins from our local championship, just couple of default skins in desing of our community.

I consider this mod not finished, but very close to final version, so feel free to test it and give me some feedback or report any issues with the car here. I will look on it. Enjoy!
