Hakari is definitely a fan favorite character, and I know personally I'm very hype to see more of him animated. There are a lot of really dope characters this arc, so buckle up lmao things get pretty wild.

2026-02-19 16:49:18 +0000 UTCI think most of the complaints come from comparing his Dub voice to the Sub voice. Yuri Lowenthal is obviously iconic, but the deeper/rougher voice in the sub seems to fit a lot better in many people's opinions.

2026-02-19 15:49:32 +0000 UTCI would be down for an og Naruto run even a shippuden run tbh but shippuden is so long that it would probably require multiple drops per week a few episodes at a time to get through at a reasonable time. Shippuden has around 300 non filler episodes doing single episode drops twice a week without missing one and not counting any multi drops. It would take around 3 years 😂

Yes it's a good show, but so much of the early episodes suffers from characters over explaining things, likely because part of the target audience was children and children might not have understood subtleties. It just feels unnatural in a realistic setting. When a life-or-death fight is put on pause because a character needs to spend 30 seconds explaining what they just did, I can't help but feel like the viewers are being treated like idiots. Thankfully this problem does get handled better as the show progresses, but it still makes the beginning a bit painful at times.
