2026-02-16 19:13:12 +0000 UTCWhy is everyone always so concerning about the swearing? Even in this minor extent, I just don't know why people feel the need to focus on it.

2026-02-11 04:38:35 +0000 UTCFun fact, Brighter is the first song in the entire series that you can get through the entire way without there being any swearing prior to the end of the song. So basically, the first swearing of this episode happens after Brighter.

2026-01-13 18:05:19 +0000 UTCSo many people seem to(somewhat understandably) take it to assume he can't as in by himself or he's he's not allowed which tbf we haven't(yet) got any info on what "can't" means tho I'm assuming it's a literal bcz he's a winner(same as how sinners can't leave the pride ring)

2026-01-13 13:53:44 +0000 UTCThey CAN’T bring Pentious over. It’s not physically possible. Emily said so in the second episode.

2026-01-13 02:57:46 +0000 UTCBrighter is probably one of my favorite songs this season, but the more I listen to Live to Live the more I like it, from a story perspective it makes sense that Sera, an immortal seraphim that's never experienced human life, wouldn't inherently understand the humans' perspective. Pentious also states in the song that there's more to redemption than just acting against your sin, you have to really mean what you're doing and want to change. With that in mind I don't think a person like Vox could ever game the system and pretend he's righteous just to get to heaven.

2026-01-13 01:20:12 +0000 UTCNot trying to instigate anything, but what does his race have to do with with his murders? He was just a serial killer that happened to be a radio host in New Orleans

2026-01-12 23:32:48 +0000 UTCThanks for reading my question! Something I wish the show had gone into more is Alastor’s motivation for killing and its ties to his race and the time period he grew up in. He’s obviously killing people and making deals with demons while he’s alive because he loves having power and control over others, two things he lacks in every other circumstance. Vox is a talentless leech who killed to be the center of attention and stole the style and mannerisms of his victims, and Alastor managed to succeed despite the challenges with nothing but talent. I liked this dynamic a lot this season. I could right a dissertation on them.

2026-01-12 23:15:13 +0000 UTCthe val part of the last song is def supposed to be morbidly funny. a horrible abusive pimp singing like a disney princess is a silly contrast

2026-01-12 23:04:41 +0000 UTCI think you're onto something with the "second heaven" idea. Or at least something similiar. Theres no reason hell needs to be as bad as it is. And while we don't see it often, I think Angel Dust lives closer to yhe normal resident of hell than most others with the exploitation and constant torture/pain. But I do think hell can be made better to where people wont want to go to heaven and I think that will be how the show ends. There are some sinners that are clearly evil like the Vees (at least 2 of them) and Alastor and some others. But they can be handled with taking away their power or some sort of prison. While those who want redemption can be given the resources they need to change for the better and those who just want to continue living in hell like Husk without the abusing nature of hell we see can. And I think we see a key aspect with Baxter to how redemption can happen. No one pressured him to be a good person, but they made his life easier and he is willing to help them because of it. That is honestly a great point and inthink making hell better can have a major ripple effect.

2026-01-12 23:01:58 +0000 UTCIt’s a new track by our composer Carter Sanders, called Letts Be a Hero, and I thought it fit the epic ending to this season! So glad you like it!

2026-01-12 22:59:51 +0000 UTC"Brighter" slaps so hard actually. It's one of the best in the show. Christian Borle killed it all season! Also vox's followers got electrocuted with him and they went to hell alongside him.

2026-01-12 22:44:25 +0000 UTCJust to point it out, Vox couldn't even die on his own. His cult were all standing with him in a pool. Everyone in that room with him, got electrocuted too. Yikes. And to clarify on Alastor, his deal with Rosie was a springboard for him to have a headstart to get more powerful "to continue his fun." So yes he got a huge boost, but the only tether Alastor has, is that he has to follow Rosie's orders until his side of the deal is done. He's had decades since to build himself up in hell
