2025-11-26 09:50:40 +0000 UTCdeku having to let go of one for all was a huge discourse when the manga chapter for this first came out; to this day, there are people who don't fathom the idea of deku returning to being quirkless and this caused a huge wave of hate for mha at that time...but i'm glad so far people who are anime only-s are getting the point immediately! for izuku, it has never been about 'being number 1' or 'having a quirk', it's always been about saving people who need saving, just like all might did when he could! he isn't an all might fanboy because all might's quirk is cool or flashy or strong, he is an all might fanboy because all might is the 'symbol of peace', the hero who never turns his back to anyone in need, and of course, saves everyone with a smile! if beeing a pilar of hope for those in need requires deku to give up one for all, rest assured he'll never hesitate to do it, because just as you guys said it, that's who deku is, and that's why he is the best representation of heroism, truly an amazing character inside out🥹

His absolute dedication to saving everyone he can even someone as evil as shigaraki. Willing to sacrificing his quirk, the treasure his hero gave him, in order to so. Saving a villain can be annoying because it leads to more destruction or the villain randomly does a 180 but it works in MHA. Also their conviction is usually "killing is bad" or "will we be just like them" but Deku has always reached his hand out to every person he can

I was ready for them to put an end to Shiggy in season 6. 🫠 But I love that Deku has never given up on his values! That’s one of my favorite things about him. He is a hero through and through. I’m heart broken though, he deserves to keep his quirk and be a hero for the rest of his life. And he is so quick to agree to give it up, if that means saving everyone… no matter how painful that is for him to do 🥺💔

2025-11-18 04:16:44 +0000 UTCI always think back to what Stain said "All Mights strength had nothing to do with his power" which has been a huge theme throughout the show and also that in the beggining Izuku said not that he becomes the strongest hero but that he becomes the greatest hero, which I think is important because despite him never being the strongest throughout his life he has always been the most heroic
