Now that youve seen a large portion of the phantom troupes abilities, do they seem much more of a threat for kurapika? and what do you think about thier abilities?

2025-11-14 17:05:02 +0000 UTCIn Yorknew arc Phantom Troupe were villains, in Chimera Ants arc they defend their native Meteor City from enemies, while staying true to their malicious traits. Killua in Greed Island arc said that he killed more people than the Bomber; in a way he's the same as Phantom Troupe member, just instead of defending one Meteor City, he defends the entire humanity. Despite his protective nature Colt was kidnapping people for his Queen to feed (evil action, but it was for his species survival, so from his perspective it serves a honourable purpose). And while Genthru (the Bomber) was absolutely evil in Greed Island arc, he wasn't selfish (he asked to heal his friends instead of himself). What do you think about Hunter x Hunter representing villains and heroes in such compelling and complex way? It never makes us simply hate villains and idolise heroes, it shows goodness and flaws in both.
