Here is a neat easter egg ,n case no one has mentioned it, the scene where Grog talks to the two kids. That is actually Travis voicing Grog, Laura voicing one of the kids and their 5 year old son voicing the other. The recorded a play session with their child and found a way to put it in the animation. That is so cool.

2025-09-17 05:07:51 +0000 UTCThe campaign book Call of the Netherdeep by Matt Mercer has a portion in Ank'heral. Its a fun adventure with its own Vestige as the macguffin. I recommend it even if it's just to read the lore and story of the book.

2025-09-15 23:01:00 +0000 UTCBased on the main sequence of events that is happening, I'd guess around this time of the campaign they are ~Lvl14 about to hit 15. So yeah we are really getting into epic levels (one could even say they are practically gods, but one probably shouldn't)

It's my fave season, and has a whole different vibe than Vox Machina. I hope you guys react to it!

2025-09-15 16:54:29 +0000 UTCRipley's probably the most interesting villain in Vox Machina cause I can UNDERSTAND where she's coming from (even more later in the season). She's essentially pitching the same vision of equality as Amon from Legend of Korra or Overhaul from My Hero Academia, only less radical and with a different route. I mean, look at what happened at Whitestone with the Briarwoods, or Emon with the Chroma Conclave. If firearms were more mass-produced like she's saying, those events probably would've gone differently. The only hitch to her proposal is Orthax, unfortunately. Otherwise, I'd have no real problem with what she's doing.

2025-09-15 16:03:59 +0000 UTCMighty Nein - the other Critical Role show comes out November 19th, which if my math is not wrong, you finish this season on the 24th of November, the Monday just after the Mighty Nein show starts. That's like perfect if you want to start the show. It could replace the slot perfectly, heck you could even re-arrange the schedule to watch the episodes as they come out if you really want to, and well...Mighty Nein is worth it, cuz it's THE most popular thing Critical Role ever did, it's SUCH a good campaign. My favourite by far.

Also Dr. Drenzel is based off of Dr. Dre, and Scanlan is loosely based on Eminem. In the campaign Scanlan got his start traveling and performing with Dr. Drenzel, they were good friends and not strangers like in the show.

2025-09-15 15:08:16 +0000 UTCIf you guys are looking for another anime to watch once you finish what is currently out for this show, I can't recommend Dan Da Dan enough honestly. It has a similar feel to it as Mob Psycho, but it's also completely unique in a lot of ways. The animation is also superb, and it has a really fun and entertaining story as well. Also Aleks Le is in the dub cast!
