The scenes that confuse them the most typically have the most to do with deep emotional understanding, then I remember their white... not necessarily something their ancestors are known for, so it wouldn't be deeply ingrained, I guess...

2025-07-27 05:44:12 +0000 UTCFun fact that isn’t a spoiler since the show doesn’t discuss it and the arcs over kurapika has to pay to use his emperor time ability it’s not just free use he basically goes into a sort of coma equal to the amount of time he spent using the power idk the specifics since it’s manga only and im hoping for the anime to come back and pick up where it left off but a cool fact which is reflected in the anime

2025-07-27 01:52:33 +0000 UTCSince you’re through the Arc I can expound a little bit about my thoughts on Chrollo and the Troupe. I began to watch this show after My Hero Academia as well, and so naturally I compare the two power thieves, Chrollo and All For One. And that’s where I found a truly fascinating parallel, All For One spent the series playing the part of the ‘Villain’s Hero’ their version of All Might who would crush their enemies and guide them to victory as their beloved Master. Similar to Chrollo All For One commands immense personal loyalty from his subordinates (Gigantomachia and the Doctor namely) both of whom initially reject their Master’s chosen successor despite it being ‘the plan’ because they hold AFO in such high esteem. In parallel we have Chrollo who is similarly loved by his friends, and who the Troupe are willing to break their founding rule (protect the Spider) to try and save. Similar to AFO they hold him in such high regard they can’t imagine continuing without him. But now we reach the difference, All For One only truly cares about himself, his messianic facade is just that and he callously discards his pawns at any time for any reason…

2025-07-27 01:51:33 +0000 UTCVery interesting end to an arc, and also why the Phantom Troupe is my favorite villain group. Particularly with that last line from Phinks. Phinks was the main troupe member against letting Paku do her thing from the beginning and also got into the argument with Gon about Paku. To then literally inherit Paku's feelings/memories on the matter and do a full 180. Not only acknowledging her feelings but also going as far to make sure Killua and Gon know that their actions were something Paku was thankful for. To me this proves to me that some of the members at least are capable of some form of sentiment. Especially Phinks, I think he truly understood the sentiment both Paku had to the Boss & Gon/Killua had to Kurapika after inheriting the memories. And was able to see the similarities between them and genuinely be grateful to Gon/Killua himself. Otherwise he never would have went out of the way to make sure Killua and Gon knew of Paku's feelings after explaining her fate.

2025-07-26 14:10:40 +0000 UTCLet's go This Arc has been absolutely phenomenal. It's probably my favourite one but don't worry that doesn't mean the other ones will be not as good. I think the last one is objectively much better. I'm so excited for your reactions to the next Arc. East is the direction to go there Chrollo will find one who awaits him probably to help him with his situation otherwise he would be dead. And there are people who can undue other people's nen. This will be interesting Chrollo is probably my favourite character lol but that's mostly because of the Manga.
