2025-06-06 02:06:09 +0000 UTCNot to dig too deep into religion stuff, but if part of the mythology is that everything that happens is a part of THE PLAN (tm), it could be argued that at most he was a sacrificial pawn and that being the villain of the story is simply the role he was playing (willingly or otherwise) in order to combat some greater evil. Which, and we are dipping into some deep post-anime SOILERS here, would actually be a rather apt metaphor for how Chrollo views the Phantom Troupe.

Rememeber that multiple of them described People who would go to the auction as "Going to sleep". My guess is that one of her clients was eitehr one of the Ten Dons himself or soemone very close, because they had the authority to dispatch one of the SHadowbeasts to hide the merchandise. But a Prediction like that likely isn't enough to get the whole thing called off, to vague and esoteric for that.

Some even go as far as to say he was the most loyal of Jesus' disciples, because he was willing to throw away honor and life for the greater good. One of the main ignitors of this line of thinking is the "Gospel of Judas" a non-canon Gospel, that was rejected by teh early christian church (They had a sitdown at some point to decide what was canon and what was not. Quite a few more controversial Gospels landed on the cutting room floor) The whole "The church tried to bury it" thing only added fuel to the fire of "He wasn't as bad as people say" fire

2025-06-05 19:03:30 +0000 UTCYeah if feels like a lot of Killua's techniques from the Hunter Exam era are at least pseudo-Nen, they sort of have to be retroactively but it's not really been confirmed one way or the other as far as I know. They have confirmed people can use Nen without knowing it, heck Gon is even confirmed to have learned Zetsu during the Hunter Exam so it's not farfetched to assume the nails thing Killua does is a simple enhancer technique that he wouldn't even necessarily realize is Nen

They’re saying this is the enhancer he was talking about it. They still know he’s after all of them
