2024-10-11 01:08:53 +0000 UTCFor some people with auditory processing issues it's easier to read subtitles in the language that is being spoken. It helps with the phonetics of new words. It can be harder to read and interpret the subtitles when the words don't match what they are hearing.

2024-10-10 06:00:54 +0000 UTCSo just in case you guys happen to be weirded out (since you guys still are technically VERY new to anime in general) Rebecca is sort of like the equivalent to la brava. They are meant to be super short adults such as dwarves/midgets but they ARE adults. I personally never care about loli stuff being in anime because I grew up with anime and japanese culture in general but just chill because very short girls and guys do exist in our world that should be considered adults and not looked upon as something such as children if you get what I mean. I get that weird loli stuff does happen in anime but most of the anime you watch are all good and well with that stuff. Once again I am voting for a Frieren reaction series because you guys are going to love it. Just had to throw this in here while I could lol

2024-10-10 04:29:48 +0000 UTCIt’s a futuristic car with a computerized, robotic transmission, he’s turning the wheel fast enough that commands are being sent to the wheel assembly at an incredibly fast rate, and he’s driving at a high enough speed, that the sudden directional change in the wheel causes the car to flip up on three wheels (it has two front axles). I have no idea how David has such an intuitive grasp of driving physics that he knows how to do that, but it has been established that he’s very smart so 🤷♂️. Professional stunt drivers can do similar things in today’s cars, obviously it doesn’t look quite so dramatic. But there are some fun videos out there of drivers getting some decent distance on two wheels.

2024-10-10 03:59:18 +0000 UTCThe sub of Cyberpunk in particular is pretty bad for a couple reasons. For one, it’s set in California. For two, the Japanese voice track contains none of the slang that does such a good job of building immersion in Night City, everyone is mostly just speaking proper Japanese and a couple of them use regional dialects, like Maine is using Kansai or something. There’s also some minor misspelling and missing words in the official subs that just kinda mess with the experience. I think having them on to catch slang and worldbuilding details stuff is a really good idea, but they aren’t of a high enough quality that I’d want to use them with the Japanese dub.

Most of the abilities you see in the show can be done in the game through perks or cyberware. In fact, after the game's 2.0 update, three of the new perks added were inspired by David, Lucy, and Rebecca.

And he isnt slowing time down, the outside world is not affected by his sandevistans activation only he is, so "transferring" power wouldnt be possible.
