I love how many things start to happen in this episode it's so a adrenaline rush. Montana always guessing right (with the name of Bakugo) im a fan. I got a hard opinión about the way Lemillion appears out from cause I thought I'd would be more "heroic " if first you can hear the "Power" with a voice off and then rapidly appears ki da similar as when he save the sidekick of endeavor.

I still think Bakugo's name should have been Ka-boom (pronounced like the hiragana character "Ka") A play on Deku's nickname for him "Ka-chan" and the word Kaboom

I’m glad to see other fans acknowledging this cause I literally saw some ppl on twitter peddling the argument that Touya doesn’t care at all—specifically about the League—which is really not true imo!! Even when he claims he doesn’t care, I think that is just him trying to keep up his whole Dabi facade, similar to his aloofness up until this point. And obviously his actions speak way louder.

Another thing about the it’s yours line also could open Dabis eyes about how when he hurts someone with his powers he says look at another harmed by endeavors powers so the line could also refer to the fact that it’s your power so your killing them fully you are fully responsible for it

oh one more note is that his name is in line with several of his classmates and peers hero names in terms of having two parts: Yaoyorozu is 万物ヒーロー クリエイティ (Banbutsu Hīrō Kurieiti) or "Everything Hero Creati". Sero's is テーピンヒーロー セロファン (Tēpinhīrō Serofan) or "Taping Hero Cellophane" Kaminari's is スタンガンヒーロー・チャージズマ (Sutan Gan Hīrō Chājizuma) or "Stun Gun Hero Chargebolt". Recovery Girl's full hero name is 妙齢ヒロイン リカバリーガール (Myōrei Hiroin Rikabarī Gāru) or "Youthful Heroine Recovery Girl". Edgeshot's is 忍者ヒーロー エッジショット (Ninja Hīrō Ejjishotto) or "Ninja Hero Edgeshot" And so on and so forth. Basically, the format isn't actually that far from his peers, it's just way more wordplay and significantly more of an ego (i.e. calling himself "Great God" instead of "Hero")

Unfortunately, while the general vibe of Bakugo's hero name being too long and over the top and a bit cringe in that edgy way teenagers can be at times is consistent, what's lost in translation is that there's some fun wordplay going on with it. So, one of the Japanese characters of Bakugo's name (爆 "baku") is shared by the kanji for "explosion" (爆発 "bakuhatsu"). Bakugo's initial hero names he came up with in class are both puns he made by combining that kanji with another kanji for "murder" (殺 "satsu") as well as a different title: "爆殺王" or "Bakusatsuou" (King Explosion Murder) and "爆殺卿" or "Bakusatsukyou" (Lord Explosion Murder). The entire thing being a play on the fact that "Bakusatsu" or "Explosion Murder" sounds like both "bakuhatsu" and his own name. So, the name he declares here in Japanese uses this wordplay that Bakugo is fond of throughout the series (see also: nicknaming Midoriya "Deku" based on an alternate reading of one of the kanji in Izuku that references a Japanese idiom for "useless person") for his official hero name 大爆殺神 ダイナマイト or "Daibakusatsushin Dynamight" ("Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight"). It takes the same wordplay from before of 爆殺 ("bakusatsu") adds the kanji for "great" (大 "dai") and "god" (神 "shin") and adds the word "Dynamight" (well technically it's actually "Dainamaito") as a clear reference/homage to All Might (both hero names share the "マイト" (Maito). So, the whole thing is a dense bit of wordplay and fun with alliteration that is really cool and perfectly represents Bakugo in my opinion: an over the top edgelord name on the surface that is actually weirdly well thought out and clever while also showing Bakugo's wish to be like All Might himself. Unfortunately, exactly none of this can be well translated over to English (whether it's subbed or dubbed) which is unfortunate but ah well. That's just the regular struggles of any translation project, it is what it is.

Shoto refused to use his quirk as he viewed it as being his dads. He needed to realize it was HIS. Toya usues his flames to hurt people with the view point of "these are endeavor's flames and quirk so HE is hurting these people". Deku was saying "It's YOUR quirk. YOU are the one hurting them. Not endeavor

Something that a lot of people miss about Toya/Dabi is that he’s definitely lying when he says he doesn’t feel anything anymore. But also, I feel like the need to talk about Natsuo again and how one of brothers (who he was extremely close with) ended up being the guy who sent the villain that almost got him killed.
