Old social dynamics rise out of them easily, and Helen finds herself in a snide gossip circle focused on an old classmate, Bess, who happened to join a Milktec Factory. As the night progresses, Helen makes it her mission to prove once and for all she's above such demeaning things as gossip and hucows, until she takes the stage for the night's big surprise.
Hi all. Diving back into the world of Milktec with this one. It's set a little later in the Milktec timeline and introduces a new, small wrinkle to the world at the end. It cheats a little on history by kind of insinuating that school in 1937 was similar to school in the 50s, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person paying attention to anachronisms in the story where people turn into huge breasted sex addicts. If it bugs me enough I may go back and change everything to shift the dates around.
I've got half a HSA written, but it got a little too depressing so I bumped that back for the moment. Also, we did a mini renovation project over the weekend that ate up more time than I expected. Time Management and I get along great sometimes.
