It might be a dark horse compared to some of the other suggestions but I would love to see you two react to the "Future Diary" anime - I think Kenny would have some fun theorizing through that and the characters in it are definitely ripe for analysis.

She resisted it at first when she was first Geassed, and then when she sees Suzaku as she's dying, she breaks it. Pay close attention to what happens in that scene. When she remembers that Suzaku is Japanese, the red ring around her iris returns, showing that the Geass command is taking control again. However, she denies it again, like she first did, and then when she continues speaking with Suzaku, she opens her eyes, and the red ring is gone. She's not under the Geass anymore. The thought of murdering innocent people detested her enough for her to resist the Geass, and the thought of the same applying to Suzaku was enough for her to break it.

2024-04-10 15:21:48 +0000 UTCthere is a code geass movie that takes place in an alternate universe based on the recap movies. not much is different, the main thing i remember is that shirley doesn’t die in this alternate timeline. the movie is more of a fan service thing but is a decent watch. don’t look up the title until you finish the finale tho.

2024-04-10 14:47:08 +0000 UTCMore like The Grip of Damoclussy 😜🥵🥵🥵🍆 Jk~ There is a hinting at breaking Geass, and it's when Euphemia was resisting the order to kill the Japanese at the start of it, and when she was dying while talking to Suzaku. There's also hints of it potentially happening during the Akito the Exiled OVAs if you ever watch them. Regardless, it's been a wild ride and I've loved your reactions! A lil sad I missed out on the final episode questions but ah well. Enjoy the finale!
