Nighteyes fears are valid. I think with knowing the future the fear is not knowing if stepping in or doing nothing causes that future. It’s like with shrodingers cat. Until you open that box theres no way of knowing if you are making the correct decisions to get the future you want or if youre playing into the future you saw.

By all means Deku and Mirio had the advantage as Chisaki didn’t know their quirks and was all alone. Civilian casualties were a concern, but given how well Mirio did in his 3v1 they most likely would have won

The whole song sounds like Deku speaking to Eri lyrically. This is similar to the できる dekiru that Uraraka assumes he takes his name from. As far as tone in Japanese: No, it doesn't have it. At least not the same way that Mandarin does. Japanese has pitch accent and mores. Pitch accent is something that English has informally though so it's not as weird as it seems and mores are kinda weird at first coming from English but if you've studied Mandarin you're already surely familiar with them.

Knowing what we know about Chisaki's quirk, the chances they'd have made it out alive are slim to none. Giving Nighteye and the other heroes time to prepare and plan gives them a much higher chance of success. Obviously it's an awful situation and an impossible decision to make, but ultimately they did the right thing

Very fun and it really was about as faithful you could get, it has the same spirt of the book and that (in my opinion) is what makes a great adaptation!

It would have been so easy for him to actually act as a father figure and raise her to be loyal but even that would have been too much of an effort I guess. At the shallowest level any affection would be an investment in her future with the organization. It just shows how she means literally nothing to him beyond her quirk, not even as a human being let alone a child.

She just said "Please don't go." Nothing else. And they didn't know anything about Overhaul. You just made up a ton of stuff. The decision was right in the moment. They found a little girl running away from her dad. She was bandaged, but you have no evidence she was harmed by her father, and she doesn't say anything about that. She also runs back to be with him. If they tried to stop her, not only do they ruin the investigation (when they have no evidence), and try to arrest a man without any probable cause (meaning they'd lose their license), the would have almost certainly died then and there. Deku could not do a thing against Overhaul in that alley. Mirio is amazing, but unclear what he could do with a bunch of civilians he needs to protect and without even knowing what Overhaul's quirk is. Your entire argument is illogical.

But honestly as an adaptation, it takes what was great about the books and really does it justice. If you go into it expecting a recreation of what your mental image of the books is then of course you're going to be disappointed.

According to their translation, the full line that that phrase is apart of says, "So please don't give up on me and disappear." From what I can tell, the full song might be from Deku's point of view.

Wikipedia describes lipids as, "a broad group of organic compounds which include fats, waxes, sterols, fat-soluble vitamins (such as vitamins A, D, E and K), monoglycerides, diglycerides, phospholipids, and others." So it's not *just* fats, but also a bunch of other stuff the body uses in various processes.

They had no evidence of Chisaki doing anything. At best they believe Eri, otherwise they would have had to given her back to Chisaki, putting her in the same situation except now he is even more strict given the fact he knows the heroes are watching him, making it even harder to save her again. Although I don't necessarily agree, it probably was for the best that they didn't save her then.

It’s just a theory but I think it’s interesting he was fine with the work studies until he learned they could be targeted again then changed his mind again when he saw how determined Deku was to save someone that he sees as he failed to do
