Again you’re taking lines out of context and just ignoring what’s actually being said. I literally gave you the full context where he directly refers to extending his reach as creating demons he didn’t want to in the hopes that one of them would be capable of walking in the sun. There is literally no other possible meaning for extending his reach given the full context of what he’s saying. You’re pulling 3 words from a monologue without the full context and saying “see it’s confusing”. It’s not confusing you’re just taking things out of context and not listening to the entire monologue

In fact, I interpreted it differently despite knowing what the original says. So yes, this is definitely getting lost in translation here. It didn't get the point across nearly as clear as it was supposed to, instead it's muddy and leaves too much room for interpetation.

2023-12-23 18:24:41 +0000 UTCmost epic stories have the villain that want to play god I have come to expect it but what I enjoy is the moment when they drop the reveal, my favorite being the Pain Arc in Naruto When he drops the line "I will be a god" and his theme starts to play for the first time it gives me literal chills every time. I have a 27 book anthology I am working on and I think it is obvious the direction the big bad will be headed but I am building up to the moment when that confirmation hits to be as chilling as possible. (book series can be read for free on my wattpad (username megumimary6) if you are intrested. first two arcs are complete and my writing style is very ADHD friendly)

He literally says that he dragged his feet and expanded his reach far more than he was comfortable with in the hopes that a demon would be created who could conquer the sun and that now that one had he no longer needed to expand his reach You’re not giving the full context of the translation so obviously it won’t make sense because it’s taken out of context. However he’s clearly saying that he didn’t want to make more demons and only did so for this reason and now he doesn’t have to make any more

Aniplex usually has higher-quality dubs than Crunchyroll (or Funimation) because of that, but it's still a pretty long wait.

That’s why it’s called Dancing Flash because he’s combing the breathing used in Thunder Clap and Flash, the 1st form and basis for all Thunder Breathing, with Dance, the 1st form in the Hinokami Kagura

"There is no more need to create more of my kind now" is what the original says, iirc. Also he says that he created more of his kind against his will. It was a necessity to conquer the sun but he actually never wanted to create more.

2023-12-23 10:43:42 +0000 UTCAaaah that episode really does hit hard on the feelings' roller-coaster 😂 I'm so glad I got to see you go through the three seasons of Demon Slayer and get so hyped for the next season to come!!😊 Also a little fun fact : during the opening, the last shot was Nezuko's bamboo stick on the ground, hinting on the moment she would conquer the sun and start getting her consciousness back. And you can also see the sun rising on the title card

2023-12-23 09:46:57 +0000 UTCI think the reason the title of the episode has daybreak and first light together is because daybreak gives imagery of the night is finally over such as when the slayers fight all night against demons, while first light is almost looking back at that moment in reflection, so for me it means looking forward (daybreak),but stuck looking back (first light) so it becomes a crossroad, just like tanjiro suffered from, but that's my opinion and view on it.

He didn't kill them and tries to ignore them... until they said he looked pale and sickly. Then he kills them while asking the last one "does my complexion look unhealthy to you? Does it appear I'm close to death?"

He said those with a black sword are unable to decide any ONE breathing style to use, hinting to Tanjiro's use of Sun breathing, Water breathing, and now, an aspect of Thunder breathing. As for the promotional reel, I believe there is going to be a movie first, THEN the actual arc. Though, they may do what they did with Mugen Train and make the movie, then just remake it into the actual anime as a "recap". Who knows! I'm excited for it to come out. The movie comes out a day after my birthday so I'm super excited (February 22nd is my bday lol)

I have this theory that If Hantengu disintegrated before he saw nezuko conquered the sun, Muzan probably didn't know that nezuko has conquered the sun.

2023-12-23 01:44:10 +0000 UTCYes, he saw it through Hantengu. Remember that all demons has Muzan's blood. so he probably sees all the activities of the demons like whenever they fight a demon slayer. Proof of it is that when they have their fight with Akaza in Mugen Train, muzan said that Akaza failed to kill the trio aside from Rengoku, and second when they have their fight with Daki. When Daki heard what Tanjiro is saying (which was said also by Yorichi) Daki said that the flashback was muzan's memories and the she felt that muzan's cells within her is trembling.

The stranger that Tamayo was treating was not turned into a human—simply released from the hold on his sanity. He is a demon like Tamayo and Yushiro now. Can't wait for more DS reactions next year! Next arc feels like it's going to be wild.

The last one was called To The Swordsmith Village, and it was the last two episodes of the Entertainment District Arc and the first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc. Unfortunately, if it's like the last World Tour, the first episode of the Hashira Training Arc won't be on streaming until the season premiere in the spring, so be careful with any potential spoilers.

The guy that was “cured” had his sense of self returned and was released from Muzan’s control like the doctor lady and her simp with the cat. He’s still a demon. She said specifically he has to drink blood to survive like she and the boy do so he’s still a demon just more like those two
