2023-11-19 17:59:28 +0000 UTCAs some in the comments said, it's not that the family of Genya was ever part demon, the mom got turned into one way after the dad was stabbed to death for a grudge someone had against him. So it's very safe to say that Genyas demon-like appearance isn't inherited from his mother. Looking back to season 1, Sanemi seemed to despise Demons the most, considering how he treated Nezuko. I'm really hyped to see your reaction when Genyas secret is explained

However, that DOES leave the potential that perhaps she opted (was tricked) into be turned to make herself stronger to protect her family. (My own theory) On genya, that's actually a pretty good theory about the blood infusion thing! (And of course, thanks for answering my question!)
