I love bakugo as a character so much dude he's written so well and it's so sad when I see people write him off as just a one note always angry character without realizing the depth that his character writing has that pushes him to react the way he does. People should be asking why is Bakugo like this what makes him react like this instead of just being like wow he's always angry and he's annoying. It's so much deeper than that he's just a trauma bean. It's so reminiscent of zuko in the beach episode where everyone is asking him why he's so angry and what he's angry at and he realizes he's so angry at himself that it's blinding him to everything else around him and what reality really is..such good writing

2024-03-16 16:11:05 +0000 UTCYeah, I love how much of an obstacle their relationships with each other are for this exam. For Bakugou, his hatred towards Deku blinds him to everything else, so much so that he defaults to anger as both a physical (the punch at the beginning) and emotional (going as far as saying that he'd rather lose, something we were just shown goes against his very being) response. Deku, on the other hand, loses every shred of confidence that he's gained since being acknowledged by All Might which means he can't approach Bakugou any differently than before. Essentially, Aizawa is testing their ability to communicate with anyone by forcing them to communicate with the person they have the most trouble with, each other. Their relationship with All Might is also important because while they both admire him with their entire beings, they do so for very different reasons. And like Deku, Bakugou's admiration has become a shackle, though, with him, it is tied to winning. On a different note, Deku punching Bakugou AND All Might in one episode? Badass.

Most versions will beat Allmight. Not exactly surprising considering Superman has 84 years worth of lore and physical feats to work with for comparison.

Peak captain America is at 4/20 at max power, all might is like a 12/20 at max power and superman is 18/20 with darkside being 20/20.. All might can't tank nukes or omega beams tho I do think his faster then superman just cus he has to be to get around so much.. All for shigiraki is probably a 10/20 but he has regen so he would lest longer but his quirks would lilly burn out and break at some point.. I think all might is closer to hulk but without the regen or absurd rage booster.. I do wish he was actually stronger tho 😂

2023-11-03 01:40:56 +0000 UTCI'd like to see prime all might fight darkside or doomsday.. I think I am kinda bias but I go off of what I see.. Superman is powered by the sun which is kinda cheating allowing for him to go past his peak.. With both of them fighting at their peak I think they are equal in speed and power maybe with all might having the speed edge but superman has more durability and if he goes to boost himself with the sun his now 5x stronger.. The best all might can do is 150% which is now where near what he would need to win.. Still I just prefer all might as a character which is probably effecting my judgment abit.. I rarely see superman directly interact with the air around him to move or attack other then when he claps while all might does it all the time.. I feel like all might has Alot more exerpince using high %s of power especially because his always fighting people with unique quirks

2023-11-02 20:11:58 +0000 UTCIts important to remember that Bakugo's mentality of "Its not a real win unless I do it by myself." comes from his misinterpretation of All Might. He sees All Might always fighting groups of villains alone and never having help as him in some way refusing to work with others when in actual fact All Might is so disproportionally powerful that he rarely needs any help but would happily accept it in the right situation.

2023-11-02 19:56:27 +0000 UTCWhile your overall point is definitely true about none of the other teachers being in the top 10, I definitely think that Cementoss and Eraser Head could be top 10 heroes if they weren't teachers. Eraser would (just) have to change his personality but Cementoss definitely has some fans already because there's been merch of him in the show, and he's definitely powerful. He just seems like he's probably committed to teaching duties, same as Aizawa.

Deku admired Allmight for saving people; Bakugo admired him for always winning. They are two sides of the same coin. To be the hero they want to be; both will need to become more like the other..

Just figured it might make sense to get this episode out of the way before the actual movie so it doesn't feel completely out of place during season 3. Up to y'all of course.
