Because I've never watched the dubbed version in its entirety until this reaction of it, and I know if it had been the version I watched initially, there would have been so much that didn't make sense.

2023-10-25 17:41:10 +0000 UTCJust for reference, that "Aries" name-drop that you misattributed here was just the name of Lady Marionne's villa, pretty much just her garden, names just a fancy thing, they've mentioned this when Euphy and Cornelia first arrived in Tokyo and went to Clovis's villa that he had remade the same way, Considering how many points there are in this show with t being chalk full of them you two may want to consider making notes, doesn't need to be major but names and little associations would be helpful in keeping things straight. That way you won't get sidelined with things like "Jeremiah Gottwald", there is much to come and this show has tons of callbacks, can't wait to see how you respond to the coming episodes

I love the theory that the Black Knights could do well on their own if only they were given time to develop a Plan B instead of having to develop one on the fly. Without spoiling and only recalling information from this season, I think the two biggest discrepancies that you both have relate to Marianne the Flash, Lelouch's and Nunnally's mother, and former mentor to Cornelia. A few episodes back, we see that C.C. has actually been speaking with Marianne this whole time after calling her by name, but with the appearance of V.V., you both may have thought that this figure is who she has been speaking to instead. Next, the sky temple is not the same as Aries Villa. Aries Villa was the estate owned by Lady Marianne and where Lelouch and Nunnally grew up. When Cornelia and Euphie were relaxing together, Cornelia had stated that Clovis had the government bureau's rooftop constructed to replicate the Villa in remembrance of Lelouch and Nunnally who they thought were dead at this time. The confusion must have come from episode 24 where C.C. recalled the name of the villa to Lelouch before they fought Cornelia. I do like the thought of a Temple of Ares existing somewhere in this universe because that would really fit well into the theme of this show! Looking forward to next week and the start of the next season!
