Think longer timelines and also consider the Master's comment about his family and generations. This is a generational problem and timeline.

2023-10-20 08:04:24 +0000 UTCThe baby is not Tanjuro. Sumiyoshi is Tanjuro's grandfather or great grandfather. EDIT: no, I was wrong. Sumiyoshi was born about 500-ish years before Tanjiro. Kokushibo (upper 1) is about 480 years old. If you know Kokushibo's lineage, you'll know why I say it's at about the same time as Kokushibo's transformation.

Akaza has been a demon for 200 years, and the guy from the flashback interacted with Muzan before Akaza's creation, so there's at least a 200 year gap! (This isn't a spoiler, Akaza specifically states he's been around for over 200 years. He said this to Rengoku in the Mugen Train Arc.) AND I need to remind y'all that TANJIRO IS THE OLDEST CHILD, Nezuko is the second child! He mentions that Nezuko is his little sister A LOT 😆

You guys did think in previous eps having binged that the guy with the earings was Tanjiros dad or keept mentioning it like that so this at least on it's face shows he's a different guy to 'tanjiros dad' I am clearly kinda lost it's been a while since I read but anyways i'd take away at least that :)

But that being said Tokyo Ghoul is fucking awesome the seven deadly sins aint bad i liked it but most people tend to dislike it because of how it falls off after the 3rd season.

It. Was. AMAZING! Seeing those final two episodes and an early premiere of the third season's first episode on the big screen was ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!!!

Obviously the memory of that dialog will be explained. It's not a spoiler to say, the guy who looked exactly like Tanjiro is not Tanjiros father since they have different names. If you really want to make theories you'd want to think a little outside of just tanjiros and his dad's generation.

2023-10-13 15:25:21 +0000 UTCOh that's weird. I figured I test it with English Dub in case it an issue exclusive to English (Since I only ever watch in Japanese). For some strange reason, you're right, in English Dub most subtitles don't play. That being said, they do still at least work for translating on screen text, like what you were trying to do with the Upper Ranks, if that's all you need. I also thought of a bit of a goofy solution if you wanted to be bothered you could sync up 2 at once, English Audio on another tab (If you watch via a PC) while watching the Japanese-Sub titled version muted? Still silly that they can't just let you have subs with English too though.
