What are you on about? Episode 25 of R1 Aired July 29, 2007, the first episode of R2 aired April 6, 2008, that's less than a year. A pretty long wait for a cliff hanger, sure, but what's this 3 years nonsense?

just a fun fact for you two, after the R1/season 1 finale (episode 25) fans watching as it aired had to wait for almost three years to find out what happened. So, I guess anyone watching these days should be thankful they weren't watching as it was airing (let me just say, some people were mad, for good reason, with that season finale, it was pretty brutal.)

it's working now! also, this was the first episode where i legit cried on my first watch (and on a few rewatches since) where euphie dies. i also love the moment where we finally see lelouch take a second and grieve for euphie and be comforted by c.c.; and that final phone call between suzaku and lelouch too. i just adore this entire episode
