It's interesting because all of the demons in this show follow a different path but ultimately end in absolute distane of humans, and so getting a little more meta with it, it's really showing how easy it is to fall into the traps of hate in so many different ways in life. Greed, jealousy, envy, pride, all of these can lead to such a hatefull existence.

She shouldn't have had to have tanjiro stop her she shouldn't have wanted to kill humans in the first place. If Any hashira had been there to SEE her go to kill humans they would have killed her in an instant and been right to do so.
