2023-08-20 05:40:16 +0000 UTCActually the all women group you are referring to, CLAMP, only did the character designs and not any of the animation, which was done by Sunrise. In the first place CLAMP is not a group of animators but rather a group of mangaka or manga authors/artists.

2023-08-20 01:50:20 +0000 UTCJust in case it hasn't been mentioned before (I'm assuming based on Montana's arm comment) the animation team that animated the show was actually mostly, if not all, women! This is the same company that makes Gundam (Inuyasha, as well) and they took a real shot in the dark by making a fairly Death Note inspired story and basing it around a similar theme of most Gundam: War and Oppression. Anyways, i just wanted to point out the the character models and their stylization is due to the rare incidence of an All-woman animation team!
