Lelouch has a different demeanor to his older siblings (resents them for not protesting when Nunnally and him were exiled and for their involvement in Britannia's bigotry) than to his younger in Euphy and Nunnally who he seems to dote on. Are Lelouch's views affected by at 10 being responsible for Nunnally when they became polical hostages in Japan, making his way through corpses carrying her and lying to protect her? Do you think his want to protect the weak stems from this?

2023-08-30 09:52:45 +0000 UTCComparing to other orders this one is very undetailed, "live". Had their sudden appearance in Kamine Island not happened, could Lelouch's vagueness and lack of command for Suzaku to save him have gotten him killed? He apologizes in his mind, was taking away Suzaku’s agency in order to save him, wrong? How will Suzaku, who's goal has been to kill himself at the first ocasion for a sacrifice, deal with what happened?

2023-08-30 09:22:43 +0000 UTCBecause of Mao Lelouch knew of Suzaku’s suicidal tendencies. Last episode as they were about to die Lelouch begged his friend to save himself. In panic, with no other option, he geassed Suzaku. In comparison to other orders he has given this one is very undetailed, just one word, "live". Do you believe, had their sudden appearance in Kamine Island not happened, Lelouch's vagueness and lack of command for Suzaku to save him would have gotten him killed? Lelouch apologizes to Suzaku in his mind for geassing him, do you believe what he did was wrong? Taking away Suzaku’s agency in order to save him? Would you guys do that for eachother? How do you think Suzaku, who's goal has been to kill himself at the first ocasion for a sacrifice, will deal with the truth of what happened?

2023-08-28 18:32:16 +0000 UTCLelouch has a very different demeanor to his older siblings (resenting them for not protesting their father when Nunnally and him were exiled and judging them for their involvement with Britannia's bigotry) than to his younger siblings, who que seems to dote on. He may have not seen Euphy in 8 years but he instantly goes big brother mode. How do you believe Lelouch's views on his siblings is affected by his experience at 10 years old of being responsible for Nunnally when they became polical hostages in Japan, making his way through corpses carrying Nunnally and lying to her that it was a garbage dump as we saw in a previous ep, and taking the role of a dad and a mom for her, especially considering the higher needs of a wheelchair-bound and blind girl. Do you think his want to protect the weak stems from this? Maybe that also affected his capability to accept help. His father said that everything Lelouch had was given by him and therefore Lelouch wasn't alive, maybe Lelouch only believes he isn't "borrowing life" from others if he does things himself. Do you believe that's why he refuses to let Euphy help him make the trap (and fails) or is that looking too much into it?
