2023-05-30 19:12:06 +0000 UTCI know this was posted weeks ago and literally no one will see this, but "them's the breaks" is used to express "a resigned acceptance of a situation" according to google, so not a shaking your fist at the youths thing. It's more like: "Yep, this thing sucks, it always has and always will. Them's the breaks, kid". I'm not saying that being resigned to a bad situation is the right thing to do though. Sorry for being pedantic lol.

The one in St. Epiderm's green (plant track) uniform that says that his parents told him to come home with a ribbon or don't come home at all, is one of them, which is interesting since he says "They are only looking out for my best interests" which is the same thing Willow says regarding why she was put in the abomination track instead of plants. It shows that, sadly, Willow's dad didn't outgrow parts of his parents way of thinking :c
