He gives no sources for this and people like yourself have taken it at face value.

For example, I'm caught up with the Chainsaw man manga, yet I can sometimes predict where the show will go or what someone might do/say. Kenny has been very upfront about what he has/hasn't seen, so I really don't know why he wouldn't make it clear here

2023-05-12 20:46:28 +0000 UTCThe episode is very iconic and to my kinda starts the real show, but I feel like the Dub version, in this episode specifically, is awful. The VAs of the spider and the grandpa are reaaaaally better in Japanese but it's my personal opinion

2023-05-12 20:41:11 +0000 UTCInteresting thing to note about the female demon at the end of the episode: in Japanese, the word for father is “otousan,” which is three syllables as opposed to the English word father, which is only two. In the Japanese version, the demon simply shouts out “father!” to call him to attack Tanjiro and Inosuke. Therefore the animation has the demon open and close her mouth three times, so the line had to be changed to “Now, father!” in English to make the dialogue sync with the mouth movements. I can see why that might’ve caused some confusion for y’all. It sort of makes it seem like she lured them there to attack them, when in reality she was just calling out to him to come protect her.
