I wasn't talking about Light killing FBI agents L suspected Light after Naomi died not after the agents were killed also like I said Near hasn't the slightest hint or proof to suspect Mikami like I explained before even with the "he watched a bunch of videos" of him praising Kira as many people did, and his suspicion was only confirmed much later after Mikami caused the death of that guy in the train, and to even just get a suspect from Japan he would need hundreds or maybe thousands of people to do research on the Japanese people and that is if he knew his suspect was from Japan, just little things that put me off from the second half of the show even though overall I like it.

I totally agree. The anime is a really good adaptation, but they definitely rushed the 2nd half (which may contribute to people's dislike...along with it missing L of course). The manga is definitely the place to go to see any of the more finer details of the show which the anime couldn't dive into as much. Even additional scenes such as shinigami viewing the action, are only included in the anime and tend to confuse 1st time viewers into thinking that they will be involved somehow

I understand what you are saying, but this is only an issue for the anime adaptation. The manga pretty much always goes into more depth into anything. An early example of this is light killing all of the FBI agents. In the anime, they kinda just have light give a brief explanation and gloss over it, while in the manga it clearly shows and demonstrates that light had wrote everything in a way for it to be impossible to track him. L even looks into the times of death / when they receieved the file, and deduces that it would be impossible to know who kira used. This is sort of mentioned in the anime, when they say that kira used many criminals around that time. In the manga for x-kira, near goes through hundreds to thousands of video files (you can see the CD's for them in the anime surrounding near). In the manga, near also asked his agents to also view the files and they both also concluded that mikami was the most likely suspect. Its very similar to how L watched 2 houses CCTV footage, and then believed light to be the likely suspect, only near's is on a much higher scale

This is stupid imo saying Mikami has a high chance of being Xkira based on the fact that he said positive things about Kira in a show, at this point there are millions of people around the world and in Japan that think and have said positive things about Kira, when L suspected Light the first time he knew it was one of the people Ray Penber was investigating not this Near sees through all bullshi*, that one of the reasons why the second half of death note is not as good as the first imo.

This is one scene that I really wish they had adapted differently. In the manga Near viewed hundreds of interviews of Kira supporters (specifically ones that had talked to Takeda) until he found the Mikami interview and decided he was X-Kira. In the anime that weird brain blast is, I think, supposed to be him going through all of the interviews in his head after having watched them off screen. The way it plays out it looks like he just stumbles upon this huge clue by chance, which is unsatisfying, so I wish they had adapted this part a little more faithfully. It seems to be one of the main products of the "rushing" of the Near/Mello arc.

I think there is a lot of Sapiosexuality going on in this show. Kiyomi said that Light was the only person she ever admired. Light chose her as his mock girlfriend because he recongnized the signs of her attraction. Light has never blushed one in the show from what I can tell.

imo, He has no romantic feelings for anyone, and although he probably liked her better than Misa, he still only see her as a practical tool. The only reason he dated kiyomi before was to throw off the investigation, strategic

i don't think you noticed that Mikami took a picture with his phone before "killing" the guy in the train, great reaction though

Somehow I find the genius detective conclusion from Near being "Light Yagami is popular with the ladies" incredibly funny

So excited! You're getting to some of the best episodes of the series.
