Last showcase (+ Fanart Promotion)

You see, I've been told I'm a TERRIBLE guy because I wasn't supposed to make another post about Slice of School before the demo release. That hurt my poor little heart. So I'm here, making a last post because I don't want those mean people to reiterate their threats D:

Nah, it's just PeakJump who says I suck at marketing. Which is probably the case. But you're not supporting me for my marketing skills, do you? 8D

So I'll be showing two screenshots as well as a new H scene. But just the sketched version. Like you have the disadvantage of the spoils without their benefits :D But I'm a nice guy. I'm telling that to you right here so if you don't want to be spoiled, you can leave before reaching the pic.

The two screenshots are nothing to be amazed of. They're meant to show you the UI.

Unlike for SoV3 or The Hunter 2 I actually bought a design pack for that UI. Of course we had to adapt it, but it was MUCH quicker and MUCH less expensive to do so :x I like the result.For once, we moved to black text over white background when it's usually the opposite. For the facesets, everything's custom though. I'm quite proud of my little result since I'm the one who did the outline and the small gradient behind. It's pretty basic but it works.

In case some of your are concerned about the map and especially about the fact it looks a bit empty, it's normal. Let say that considering the time we have left, I prefer focusing on the game and finishing everything important for the demo release and spend time on furnishing maps a bit more for the next update. So yeah, there's bound to be spots here and there in the demo that look a bit empty but it'll be improved with time.

Then we have the menu. It's also VERY basic. It's not finished and probably will be finished for v0.1. Right now we've made sure the gallery is working. Inventory and Characters won't be available for the demo (you won't need them anyway.) It's working very well with a mouse. Cause in case some people forgot or didn't know about it, Slice of School is supposed to be the first game where I'll try to make an official phone compatibility. I don't know if it'll work well but we'll see. Considering it'll be a lot of trial and error, don't expect the demo to work properly on phones. You'll probably have to wait for the v0.1 for that.

So personally I'm not fan of sharing one more fifth of the game but I'll follow some shady advice I've recieved :x

Of course, if I'm going to spoil, might as well, spoil something tasty. If you're still around it means that you don't care. So here it is.

I think that should ease some fears a bunch of you had about Slice of School, no? :x

I've already told it, but the demo is supposed to be a showcase of what the whole game will be (in terms of content, not gameplay.) So you had Suzuko and Paige with futa stuff. Now you have Yuki with a horse and a dog and the other two scenes are also very specific fetish-wise and that group of 4 pics will cover A LARGE specter of my usual fetishes. I hope that the shortness of the demo (cause it'll be VERY short) will be balanced by your appreciation of those scenes.

I'm taking that chance to mention that I'm also changing my narrative style. I'm getting tired of writting everything only from thoughts or dialogues of characters. Sometimes, it's not natural to describe specific elements. Since the majority of VNs seem to do that, I'll add narrative lines inside scenes. And I think it's a good idea considering the results I've had so far. They feel more fleshed out, are longer, and it's easier to make characters have behaviours that aren't necessary shown on the picture.

Normally, everything's pointing out at a release this weekend for the demo. However I have no idea if it'll be on Saturday or Sunday (it probably won't depend on me ^^').

Now let's move to something completely different.

You read right, the word "Fanart" is written in the title. I've seen VERY few fanarts of SoV through time. And I'm always very surprised when I do. So you'll understand my surprise when I heard that one of you actually COMMISSIONNED an artist for an SoV2 fanart. Not that I'm complaining though. It always feels great to see your characters getting the upperhand over the millions of other girls that could've been chosen :p

So our national snowsamurai (you know, the guy who manages to make the hentai and meme corner channel lively on BA's Discord server :x) commissioned an artist called Chilichi5 with Eri as a model. The variations are going deep. Like... VERY deep 8D Of course she has a hime cut since anything without one looks like pleb to snow :p Anyway, you can enjoy it right here:

And this time it's REALLY the last post before the demo release.

Exceptionnaly and because it's a demo, the $20 and the $10 will get it next weekend (not week of wait.) However the $5 tier will have to wait one week. We'll go back to the usual release schedule with v0.1 at the end of December.
