SSSF Information Reveal Post #31: Scat Mode

Hello everyone,

I know you're eager to see the very last characters from the cast popping, but I have other things to share with you.

Today, the post should please everyone. Scat lovers and non-scat lovers alike.

You see, those of you who played Slice of Venture know that there are 3 level of "hardcoreness". Originally, I liked the idea because it allowed people to play at their desired level of fetish and it's true that all in all, it IS a good idea.

But I quickly understood that there was one major drawback to such an idea (other than having to write 3 versions for each scene :p): story coherence.

Through the Slice of Venture games, people are experiencing the evolution of Yuki and Ayame (and other characters) in terms of fetish enjoyment. This is why we end up with the girls enjoying watersports at the end of SoV2 which was not the case until then. But if I make a game where they're already rotten to the core and enjoy the sickest things, it kinda fall flat after that. That's one of the reasons why I dropped that idea for SoV2. And also why SoV "canon" story is the Hardcore mode (not the Hardcore + or X).

Now, let's look at Slice of School. This game will be a spin-off. And more precisely, a non-canon spin-off. The whole setting has nothing to do with the canon story of SoV or The Hunter. That's why I'm free to create such a random collaboration where you have 40-years-old milf students.

With that base, what the heck is preventing me from going the same road than SoV? If the main drawback (canon implications) disappears, then might as well enjoy ourselves, no?

As such, Slice of School will feature a scat mode. And JUST a scat mode. I consider other fetishes (like watersports, filthy dicks and stuff like that) as acquired by the majority of players so it's not an option anymore :p But you know how it is, scat is always the big bad guy. So instead of taking the SoV2 road with specific scat scenes, we'll go back to SoV style. This way some scenes will contain scat elements whether or not you have activated the scat mode at the beginning of the game. This way, everyone will be happy.

Scat lovers will be able to enjoy the fetish the way they want as we won't have to restrain ourselves, and non-scat lovers will be able to enjoy the game without fearing of falling on a scene that might include something they dislike.

Of course, it doesn't mean all scenes will have a scat version. But for those where it's relevant, there will be. And to make sure people see the difference, the first pack of scenes of the demo will contain one scene that occurs differently depending on whether or not the option is triggered.
