Hello everyone!
No SoS post today! Like I did last time, I'll compensate with a double post in three days. I just didn't want two posts to overlap the same day. And since it's a release post I thought it would interest you more :p
So after almost a whole year of wait, here's the next version of SoVO.
In terms of playable content, that's "almost" two new days. I say "almost" because actually the 11th day of the game was already playable (that's the one with the Ceremony). But I realized something while working on the game: I had taken the road of making Marakoma empty to show that everyone was more or less attending to the Ceremony. But when I played the game this summer, I realized it didn't work at all. It just felt like the game was empty and lazy x) So I put back everyone, inserted H scenes and made it a real day which is not JUST the ceremony.
Then there's the 12th day which is playable and the very beginning of the 13th day.
In terms of H content, that's 40 new pics, a new extended set and 9 H scenes (including one without pictures. I wanted to test that :x) I hope you'll enjoy it.
I'll still try to finish SoVO for the end of September but I don't know if I'll manage to. Mainly due to polishing stuff. If I need to, I'll eat a bit of October but still. There are two full days remaining as well as the ending scene. But like in the original game, those last two days are the ones with the biggest amount of H content, so it's not a small task ^^'
The fact that I'm working with Peak on SoS on the side and other stuff I can't mention yet is also a good reason to believe September might be a bit tight. But I stay true to my word: I'm not changing project until SoVO is finished!

2021-09-21 09:50:37 +0000 UTCYeah well, I know it's a pain in the ass, but it's extremely hard to make updates that have no problem with saves when you're alone working on a game. Between the bugs and the things you've forget to implement or didn't have time to, there's always at least one thing that kills the whole thing :/ It's much easier with linear VN games like Naomi's Past. I'm aware of that problem though, so I'll try to make sure SoS won't suffer that problem (the gameplay style should allow me to bypass that problem.)

There will be no problem with your current approach, if we could use saves from previous version, but for now each time youve launched new version, all saves do not work. Its very problematic couse of that i do not want to play so i have touch of feel that i pay for nothing.
