SSSF Reveal Post #11: Title Screen

Hello everyone!

It's already been a whole month since the Slice of School Summer Festival started so I thought I'd celebrate this 11th post with something a bit more crunchy than a character reveal: The title screen of the game!

Aren't they cute? I have a small feeling that for some of you, this title screen will turn SoS from a "project made of thin air" into something more concrete (at least I hope so x))

This is also a good opportunity to show the uniforms! Cause you hadn't seen them yet :D

I wanted something a bit classy that showed that this was no ordinary school and if there's only 12 students in the whole school, it had to smell a bit of money :p

You can see that Kaya and Yuki aren't wearing their uniform the same way at all. It's something I wanted to do here: I've designed specific ways each girl will wear their uniforms based on their personality. Since Kaya is laid back, she leaves her jacket open, the top of her shirt is loose as well as her necktie (Oh yeah, I chose necktie because we're okay that neckties > ribbons? :x) Yuki, on her side, is a bit more serious and wears her uniform more tightly.

Those custom ways to wear the uniform will also be affected in the bottom. Can't do anything with shoes cause they all have the same, however, how do they wear their socks? Ankle? Knee-High? Zettai Ryouiki? Are they white or black? What about pantyhoses? So many possibilities 8D

This is also the occasion to show you the first official coloring made by Kai. As you remember, Carlis had to leave the team after the release of SoV3 because of personal problems. We didn't have to go far to find someone to replace her: Kai is the background designer of SoV3. So he'll be working on Slice of School as both the background designer and the colorist. It will helps making things easier for consistency between the background and the characters.

Those with a keen eye will notice that the cans have peculiar names written on them. This is actually an idea of his. I sure didn't ask him to remove it. I told you, it's a non-canon game, let's do whatever we want. Now the only question is: "which one drinks cum soda and which one drinks squirt juice?" :p
