As I said last time, we're going to talk about statistics and how are they going to work.
I'm going to reupload the concerned pic for that. Just keep in mind that the stats are in no particular order in that pic (since it's still a WIP) while I'm going to try to order them properly for that post.
1) The Rank
Another thing I stated last time is that all the stats in the Brothel are meant for the brothel ONLY. As such, the rank of Kaya in the brothel has nothing to do with her global rank (it may sound counter-intuitive but Kaya's the only one with that "problem" all the other girls don't have stats outside the scope of the brothel.) Anyway, as you can guess the rank defines how good can a girl be at work. It starts at F and can go up to S following that pattern F < E < D < C < B < A < S. Note that a girl doesn't necessarily starts at the F rank (she can start higher depending on her skills) but they can all reach the S rank.
Gaining a rank is exactly like gaining a level in an RPG, the girl's global stats get higher, and she earns more per session. There are two side elements that gaining a rank will lead to:
- Each girl, at a certain rank (it's different for each girl) will unlock an alternative outfit she'll be able to use in the brothel. This will allow you to switch between her basic outfit (which can be either her original clothes or fully naked depending on the scene) and that alternative outfit. However keep in mind that this outfit is meant for the brothel only (there's no way I start adding those outside, that would be a tremendous amount of work. Kaya will already be largely enough :x). The same thing goes for Kaya, her "brothel-only" outfit will be for use only in the brothel.
- When a girl will reach the S rank, she'll be able to unlock a special scene with Kaya (provided she also reached the S rank.) So basically, through the game development, Kaya will have the possibility to have sex at least once with each girl of Ominira.
Don't worry, all stats' description won't be that long :p
2) Stamina
A plain simple one to understand. Stamina = number of customers a girl can have sex with during a night. Like the others, that stats grows with rank (though it's not mandatory. There might be cases where it doesn't)
3) Look
Probably the most important stat of all. The look of a girl is a value between 0 and 100. If it's not equal or superior to the look requested by a customer, they will turn down the offer and leave the brothel without having sex with the girl. Of course, that still burns one stamina point (not for the realistic side of things, of course, but for the gameplay side of things, otherwise it's useless.) Look also increases with rank.
4) Fetish Level
That's an interesting one. There are different level of fetishes and they rank that way: Vanilla < Audacious < Naughty < Hardcore < Disgusting
Each customer will have a fixed value for the level of fetish he wants to. If the girl's fetish level is equal or over the request amount, the custommer will leave a tip. The value of the tip will be calculated depending on other things I'm gonna bother you with (everything will be automatic on your side, anyway.) Like the rest, a girl can raise her fetish level by raising her rank. However not all girls can reach the "Disgusting" level at rank S. Once again, it depends on the girl.
5) Motivation
Motivation comes in the calculations of other parameters but also has its own use. The motivation is a %. There's a check before each custommer. If the check is validated, the girl gains a small bonus for the next customer. For instance, if Kaya's motivation is 15% chances of getting +10 of look, she has has many chances to get that +10 between each custommer. However the +10 is for a single custommer. All motivation bonuses are for a single custommer and the check needs to be redone after.
6) Adaptability
This value is ONLY here for the tip. It's a multiplicative coefficient. If you have an adaptability of 2 then the global calculated amount of your tip will be twice that amount. That's all. Of course, the values for that stat are meant to stay very low.
7) Bonus/Malus
Each girl will have a bonus and a malus skill that are passive (meaning they trigger all the time.) The bonus never changes. It's the same no matter the rank. As an example it could be something like "If the girl gets a tip she automatically gains +10% from it." This will allow to "compensate" stats. Some girls will probably have overall lower stats than others, but might have very powerful bonuses if used correctly.
The malus however DOES evolve. As you can guess it's a skill that penalize a girl. However, unlike the bonus, gaining a rank lowers the odd of it occuring. And reaching the S rank makes it disappear. So if a girl has a malus like "Has 50% chances of stopping for the night no matter how much stamina they still have", it will lower to 40%, 30%, 20% etc... as she gains rank and on rank S it will never happen anymore.
8) Price of the trick
That's explicit as fuck. It's the base a mount a girl will earn for having sex with a custommer. That value grows with the rank.
9) Salary
He he. Equality for people, eh? We're not here to build a slave building but a healthy brothel (and show there's nothing wrong with them if handled properly :x). Each girl will cost a salary every night that will be deduced from the total money she earned for Kaya. Once again that value raise with rank (it's logical.) The only exception to that rule is Kaya herself. It's her own "company" and like all bosses who start their own company she doesn't take a salary :p (the real reason is that it's just stupid since the money would end up in her pocket anyway x))
10) Experience
That's self-explanatory... A validated custommer = 1 XP point. And as you can guess, the higher the rank needed, the more the XP needed (gotta last for the whole length of the game :p)
Aaaaaaaand, there's a last one. But this one is NOT for workers but for customers. I'm still putting it here cause it's important to mention:
11) The "Like"
Each custommer will have one or several "like" elements (it's not randomized the like is the same if the custommer comes back.) It's basically a sort of personal preference a customer has. It can be physical attributes (Hair length, color, breast size etc...) or other things (requesting a girl in particular for example.) If the girl corresponds to the "like", she'll earn a flat $$ bonus which value is fixed and depends on the difficulty to match it. If the custommer has more than a single "like" and the girl still fits them all, the flat amounts are cumulative.
And that's all for stats! I hope I didn't lose you. It might look overwhelming but nothing forces you to look deep into things. You can just put the girls randomly at work without paying attention to their stats. It's not like you can "lose" or anything. Moreover all the calculations will be automatic so it should really be smooth for any type of player :)
