Among the different problems that can happen when I rework a girl, the question of knowing where I want to go is crucial. For most girls, I know what I want to change. However knowing "into what" I want to change those things is trickier. Paige and Kaya are perfect examples (and also the reason they took me the most time to rework (11 hours for Kaya (!!!)): I had no idea about the hair or clothes I wanted to give them. Liv, however, barely took me 3 hours to rework. Because I KNEW what I wanted in replacement of the previous assets I wasn't satisfied with. I knew I wanted to keep long hair for her cause it suited her "shy" side, but I also knew I didn't want them to look like the previous model at all. Like a lot of G2 hairs, they don't look like hair at all. The hair keep having angles that are physically impossible to reach (I know the goal is to simulate the fact they're not dressed, but still, the result sucks.) So I was right away in a "fuck it" mode where I decided that just because Liv was a farmer didn't mean she necessarily needed to have disordered hair. So I chose this hair style which is simple yet the bandana gives a nice credible touch for someone supposed to farm all day long. I didn't change the color of her hair, they looked nice enough to me. Clothes-wise it was the exact same thing. "Why the fuck did you give her a dress?" Who the hell works in a farm in a dress? So I wanted to give her a more credible set of clothes that suited her job more. And yet, I didn't want her to go "full-farm" clothes cause it's always nice that the girls have a little sexy or charmin side. In that case, my choice was to crop the pants to give her an overall but with a short instead. I like the result. We see more of her legs. Of course, I chose a green color because it feels like it would get a little less dirty than blue or black for farming chores. Unlike the previous model where I had to cheat a bit for the boots (they're actually boots for going out, even if in rubber, they're not meant to be "working" boots), here I found a REAL boot set that gives plenty of options to customize them and give them a much more realistic look. The result is quite satisfying. Liv retains that "shy" look as well as her little "Miss average-jane" look while being a bit more sexier. Characters like Liv are meant not to appeal to everyone because I've always found that having a village only filled with hot-ass babes would be way too basic. So while I know she's not everyone's style, I do hope that those who liked her in the previous game enjoy her new look ^^ As always, here's a little pack with some clothes variations at full resolution: https://mega.nz/#!50dXESYR!x4B0ZgDlcOHoIMVi1zESHehkNSrjyg4GJkv37yjiybs I'll see you in a few days for the next girl!
