On Going Pro

Sup errybody. Here's an update blurb. 

​While $1000/vid is the baseline income  I am aiming for to go full time with content creation (outlined in the page description), there are a few other criteria that need to be met before I can do so. And since I don't want to get anyone's hopes up unfairly, it is only fair I share the general information regarding them with my patrons.
​Before I take the plunge and take drastic action on this front (which would include such things as quitting my job and moving - not actions one should take lightly) there are several factors I am aiming to meet. I am a very financially conscious and frugal person and I believe in planning for your future responsibly, so while I look forward to the day I can make this change with blood-vessel-bursting anticipation, I have some financial goals to meet first. 
​Firstly, I intend to pay off my student loans entirely. This is the only debt I have in the world and I ain't about to neglect working to getting that shit off my back ASAP. The sooner you do it the less you pay, dont'cha know, which is why time is of the essence. The good news is, the extra Patreon cash only accelerates the rate at which this is proceeding.
​The other factor here is general financial stability. Since this is a crowd funding site, there's without a doubt a degree of volatility inherent here. It's possible, for example, that much of the currently pledge amount will be ebbing as the hype from MIAMAFV fades. I'm prepared for that, I'm in it for the long haul, but that's another reason why I am cautious about shifting so quickly from my current life to full time content creation. I'm not about to make some rookie mistake and overextend and end up in financial ruin, then you guys wouldn't get any more videos and I'd be dead, and no one wants that.
​The reason I am giving all this information suddenly is because suddenly, very unexpectedly, the notion of reaching my goal has become a very realistic thing. However, as I said, I think it would be wrong to mislead people into thinking that as soon as the Patreon reaches that number, BAM, I'm dropping everything and making content 24/7. 
​To be clear, I cling to the dream of spending my life making content like a dying man clings to the warmth of life, but I'm just too damn smart to jump into something without properly planning it. That's how I am with my videos, that's how I was with MIAMAFV, and that's how I am in life. So please be a bit patient if we're over the goal here, just know it is all going DIRECTLY toward unshackling me as soon as I can make it happen. It all counts.
​In short, you KNOW I make the good shit, I've proved it time and time again DESPITE having a full time job. That's what this Patreon page supports, as well as the goal of getting more ASAP. All I ask is that you don't expect an immediate jump to full time if I hit my goal number. Gotta do it right.
