Hi All,
A few months ago, my very first patron used his patreon request to create Zorah Magdaros, but not just a simple stat block. Nope, he wanted a map of the creature, a stat block, and a sort of hunt/adventure where you go through the same tasks as you did in world take this creature down.
This request was actually really hard for me for some reason. It took me till this month after sitting down multiple times to try and figure out how I was really going to do this map. It also hit me when I was suffering from a bit of a burnout (which happens from time to time). This month it just finally clicked and after a lot of "I don't think I can make this the way I want" and then figuring out in my last ditch ideas, I was able to create this map.
I am super happy with how it came out and the stat block/hunt I think will be much easier for me. I already have the steps to create it based on MHW, and DM Dave's post I have linked many of you to in the past.
My plan is to have one if not both the stat block and hunt available this month to EA patrons, if not one this month and one the next.
This will eventually be available to everyone, probably around a Holiday. For now, it will be in EA for 1 month, and then become available to all patrons after that time frame.
This map was also created using 2-min tabletop assets. So while his license doesn't require it please make sure you check out his maps and map assets if you haven't. You can check out most of his work on https://2minutetabletop.com/.
As I continue to complete tasks related to zorah I will create new posts to let you all know, but I will also add them back to this post as well.
Thank you all for you support and you fill find both a gridded and non-gridded version of the map below. I have also included a bonus PNG for those of you who like to color. If you decide you want to color your own zorah, or maybe your kid does, please feel free to share them in the discord or message me on patreon.
