Frozen Fiends: The Frostborn (A collaboration with Ventus Maps)

Today I am very excited to reveal a new collaboration: Frozen Fiends; a focus on icy and cold-inhabiting creatures of the north!
I am pumped to get to share with you all the original monster tokens designed for the Frostborn by: Ventus Maps! If you're not already familiar, Ventus Maps has over 250+ incredible battle maps, tokens, assets, dungeons, cities, and other maps that I wish my words could even do justice. If you're intrigued (as you should be) you can find examples of their work in the bio section of their patreon page, grab some freebie assets here, and of course by downloading the PDF and tokens in the attachments below.
As part of the collaboration I got to create unique stat blocks based on the creature designs by Ventus Maps. These creatures have been created in a way to provide a fun and interesting challenge to your players while still holding true to both mine and Ventus Map’s vision for them. I hope you all of you love these creatures and I can’t wait to work on another collaboration with Ventus Maps in the future.
Inside the Zip folder below you'll find:
- 2x High-res tokens of all of the featured, original monsters of the Frostborn
- Versions of said tokens with and without shadows
- Variants of each of those tokens for a more molten aesthetic or instead for a lightning vibe, rounding out the elemental possibilities and expanding their versatility
If you're feeling inspired by this icy company then I'd highly recommend finding similarly themed content within Ventus Map’s other work such as the Crystalline Throne Room and/or the Ice Assets. You can find still more beyond that by using their Map Archive and filtering by the Snow theme to pick and choose what you'd like!
