Friday Update - April 24, 2020

Hello, my wonderful patrons!

I hope you've all had a wonderful week. I've personally been having some troubles getting used to family being here all the time. At some point you just want a break, you know? But I was thinking about the alternative, being home alone, and I think that would have carried with it its own difficulties. Either way I and my family are so far staying healthy and we can't ask for more.

Development on 0.5 is still chugging along. I'd estimate I'm about halfway complete - but! - I'm going to do something a little different with 0.5 and I'm going to be a little quiet about the release date. Last update I had to fix some backgrounds because I may have rushed them slightly. For 0.5 I'm going to give plenty of time to do all the post-processing, testing, and non-rendering work that's needed to finish an update. 

If it all works as it should, you'll hear me getting loud about the impending release and then all of a sudden you'll be able to play it soon after. That's the plan, anyways. My plans rarely work out like they should.

I appreciate everyone voting in the Tuesday poll! The results are quite similar to the poll I ran after 0.3 when I asked "did you?" with Angel. About 2/3rds of you are, and about 1/3rd of you are saving yourselves for your favorite girl. Interestingly, several of you said you didn't want to take advantage of her in her situation, although she clearly took advantage of you to sell the house. We'll see how that works out for you in the future! :)
