Thank You! (upgrading!)
Added 2020-02-11 15:10:27 +0000 UTCI wanted to post a quick update and thank you all for your support - because I am currently waiting on computer upgrades!
I have purchased a used 1080 Ti graphics card, which is the most important component when rendering. It should be a significant upgrade over my current 1060 6gb.
I've also purchased a new power supply because the card draws more power, and a new case, because it's a possibility the card won't fit in my current case.
I expect the shipments this Friday. Once installed, I should be able to render much faster and, perhaps more importantly, more complex scenes.
These upgrades are made possible by you, my patrons, and I appreciate the hell out of every last one of you! As promised, all money I receive will be put back into making this game the best I can. Over the next two months I expect to complete the rest of my new computer. Then it will be time to save up my money for the new video cards that are expected to come out in late spring. If you're thinking of creating your own VN, you should definitely consider the cost of hardware first. ;)

ps - Please keep in mind that most renders that I present as previews still have some post-processing work left to do on them, including backgrounds.
