Friday Update - October 18

"Why is Maeve on her knees in a pumpkin patch?" you may ask.

The answer is that I was thinking of It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, where Charlie Brown sat around in a pumpkin patch waiting for a huge ass pumpkin for some reason, while his friends went out and stocked up on candy. It's a really weird, depressing show when you think about it.

Edit - Correction! It was Linus that sat around in that pumpkin patch, not Charlie Brown. Thanks, JFR!

And I thought that was perfect for Maeve. As for why she's in a little black dress wearing thigh highs? That's the beauty of adult VN creation, man! :)

Every once in a while I'll make these updates public, just to make sure everyone's informed. I would do so more often, but Patreon does not like NSFW imagery going out to people unless they opt in through a paywall.

Speaking of Patreon, they have changed their layout for those of you who are not patrons. It's ugly as shit. I've let them know, but whenever a company changes things like that it's usually something they're super proud of and they're unwilling to consider that it's dumb as hell to show people the Tiers before everything else. Even on mobile you have to scroll through the tiers. Dumb.

There's not much to report on 0.4 progress. It's moving along, albeit slower than I want. It's been that way at the mid-point of the last two updates as well, so it's a trend at this point. I am hoping to get 0.4 out by November 8, but I won't know for sure if I can make that date until probably that same week.

The Tuesday Poll was interesting and I thank you all for participating! It seems you guys are fine with updates so long as they don't take more than two months. That is workable for me. I don't ever want to take more than two months on an update.

I'm already planning 0.5 and I want to get that out the week before Christmas. But after that you might see me take two months for the next update. So I'll make sure to end it on a cliffhanger for you. ;)

But that's all speculative thinking at the moment, and things can change drastically. For now it's full steam ahead on 0.4 and I'm looking forward to getting it in your hands.
