Friday Update - September 27

Happy Friday!

Welcome to the new patrons that have joined us since the last update! 

I hope you all enjoyed 0.3. It was a bit of a crunch for me during the last week or two, but I was pretty happy with the result. I *think* my lighting improved quite a bit, though I'm not sure if people can tell much difference. Unless it's a special circumstance, lighting tends to be one of those things you only notice when it's not good, heh.

There are some things I wasn't able to do with 0.3 that I wanted:

• I wanted to do a new intro animation. But I was rendering up to the last minute in order to fix the occasional glitch or clipping here and there.

• I wanted to do a new UI. I'd like to do a new menu screen as well as new text boxes, but I am not proficient in coding in the least, and those take a non-trivial amount. So I'm either going to do that over the next couple of days or push it back a little.

I might still do a 0.3.5 version where I test a new UI and add a couple things here and there. We'll see. 

I am now in the rough draft stage of 0.4. As I've mentioned before, I have all the main story beats for Unleashed planned out, but the order of things is not set in stone at all. Right now I'm in the relationship phase of the story, where your Main Character establishes and develops his relationships with the ladies. Then we'll come to the "oh shit" moment and everything will change. :) But that's not going to be for a while yet.

So right now, just about anything can happen in 0.4. Since Angel was a big focus in 0.3 and Maeve was a bit of a focus in 0.2, I can tell you it's likely that 0.4 will focus much more on Shannon and/or Olivia. Probably both. You'll have to deal with the repercussions of your decisions at the end of 0.3, but that's just the start of things - there are going to be a lot more decisions and consequences to come!
