200'th post!

It just came to my attention that with the last two posts I crossed the 200 post mark! This means that from the moment I started this Patreon in March 2016, I have made almost 10 posts per month.

By now, your support is a significant enough portion of my income that I have the breathing room to spend more time on personal art and studies without feeling guilty or pressured. This means a lot more to me than I sometimes realize, so I'd like to take a moment to reflect on that fact and thank you all so much for being here for me and for my work.

I have been thinking about spending a bit more time on Patreon, and perhaps adding another reward tier in the form of a physical art piece that would get sent to the patron (with limited slots, of course). It would be quite experimental, but I've found so much enjoyment in doing physical art again with Inktober that I would probably really enjoy that as an extra monthly thing. Let me know your thoughts!

Thank you for the quality contents and helpful critique streams, Cara. It's amazing to see all of your stuff over the years, so keep up the good work!

Wohoo

They would not be commissions - they would simply be personal works made in my own time and for my own enjoyment and sent as a reward. I would probably have monthly polls for subject matter to allow for some input at least, but most of it would just be me doing "my thing" and people receiving the physical result. They would of course be cheaper than custom commissions comparatively. And they would not be made or sent out until after payment has actually been received. Patreon thankfully has a way of checking this - so basically whenever a person pledges, they do not get the reward until after the first time their payment has been processed. I'd also limit it to not make it too big of an obligation for me. I know my own limits, and I'd set my maximum accordingly. I'd probably start with only 3 or so slots a month and see how I manage that to try it out. Thanks for the comment! <3

Hum... Would that be a monthly commission-based tier, not really different from the regular fa commissions? If anything it's essentially an obligation for you to make it happen every month, and, hum... it would be a reward immediately accessible to "anyone", regardless of the time spent on your patreon, be it a year or a minute. I mean, in that aspect, and if I understood that correctly, it basically has nothing to do with patreon at all. So is that what you want ? Don't get me wrong, it's still more cat-art so I'm certainly not complaining. Regardless, like Sam i'm all for more Cara art, we love what you do ! <3
