Yeah, I don't enjoy the idea of Gabrielle not fighting anymore. Especially since she got so good at it! Also, throwing the staff away was unnecessary. I don't Is that not supposed to be Ephiny's staff?? This episode was a little out there but it's not the first time and it won't be the last lol. It's actually pretty interesting to see Xena state and embrace the fact that she's following the way of the warrior. It seems poignant somehow.

(They, unfortunately, did not show such consideration for all religions.) Anyway, my feeling about the India episodes is that they're well-made, but I don't find them terribly enjoyable. But, no matter. My favorite part of this reaction is your pining for Joxer. 👏🏻

2025-01-04 03:15:24 +0000 UTCActually, Gabrielle is an Amazon Queen. Ephiny is her Regeant that she appointed as Queen in her absence. It’s a love story,… the last thing we’d want is for Xena and Gabrielle to separate so she can reign.

2025-01-04 01:27:08 +0000 UTCConsidering Xena explored Taoism, Hinduism and Confucianism out of the Eastern religions of the world, it’s odd to me that they never explored Buddhism. I mean considering the show was so heavily revolving around the yin-yang, you’d think Buddhism would be more appropriate. Spiritual enlightenment and all that. I would have liked to have seen their take on some of the scriptures of the Tripitaka and Gautama Buddha. Unfortunately Xena and the controversial ‘The Way’ episode got a lot of heat for trying to illustrate the beauty of Hinduism. However, I do agree that they probably should have done more research into it before they attempted to cover it. That was foolish.
