My growing confusion watching these reactions finally led to me disentangling some memories and the insight that Ally McBeal and Boston Legal are two different shows, just both quirky legal dramas set in Boston created by David E. Kelley. Anyway, if you like Ally McBeal, check out Boston Legal—now that I’m fairly certain again which is which, I’d say the latter is the better one.
