TOKYO GHOUL: LICHT UND SCHATTEN

this week is something a bit different than my normal fare: it's not really metal and it's not a heavily requested track - it's just a backing track from a silly anime.
I recently watched Tokyo Ghoul and was not the biggest fan in the world, especially after season 1. However, the music of the show is pretty memorable - especially this track which is frequently used as both an ambient backing track and also a fight theme sometimes.
It's pretty catchy!! I wanted to try something new for the channel to see if people have ANY interest in more of this type of stuff - I know I've covered You Say Run and Jet Set Run now (which are both performing pretty well), but those are also kinda meme songs. This track is just a good old fashioned earworm that doesn't claim much association outside of the show it's from, and I wanted to test the waters with it.
I hope you like it!! I know it's not the shreddiest or most intense piece of music ever - it almost reminds me a bit of when I covered Streets of Whiterun a few years back, though not as post-rock-y.
I'm overdue for more game music. Expect some more of that next week. Seeya then!
