It shouldn't come as a surprise that we have a number of projects shelved for some day in the future when we'll finally have the resources/people for them.
For example we would love to remake our early comics, we have ideas and even a few chapters of half baked script for a whole new game and a whole mess of passion projects that may never see the light of day. It's a big and messy pile of ideas and for the most pretty unfeasible ones at this time, but there is an exception, and that is the idea of updating the first installment of the Mind Society. It is something that we could realistically accomplish within a month or so.
The original renders were impressive for their age but are at least 2 years out of date. Even worst they are the first thing new players will encounter, meaning many people will judge the quality of the entire game from the first frames and may be turned away long before experiencing the latest installment.
At the same time there is obviously more demand for new content than for overhauled one from our existing players.
So should we update our early work and attach it to next installment or should the idea stay shelved for the time being?
To help you decide we attached a few examples of remastered panels (old on the left, new on the right); in most cases you'll need a closer look to appreciate the difference.
