Hey everyone! Just a quick update on Alex the Barbarian's development. The rendering for static images is almost complete, it's a major milestone and I am personally really satisfied with our work and can't wait to share it with you all.

That said, there’s still plenty of work ahead—animations, coding, sound editing, and all the other pieces that make a game.

A Brief Update on the Lack of Updates

Sorry about missing the November update, the idea was to publish a preview of "Alex the Barbarian" (an actual playable teaser this time with almost 50% of the actual game) but it turned out I had less time than I thought I would and needed more time than I thought I’d need; hopefully this month I should finally get some time off from my day-job and be able to catch up.

"Alex the Barbarian" August Update

We've made significant progress and have completed around 70 of the 100 renders we planned. Even after the rendering is done, there will still be a fair amount of coding and editing ahead, but we're getting closer to the finish line.

"Alex the Barbarian" July update

Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, we published another update.

I’m really happy with what we have produced so far, and even more so that it is progressing at a decent pace.

I am keeping it pretty simple for now, but I really hope I can save some time once the bulk of it is ready for a few bells and whistles. I think a bit of motion comic style would work great for some of the panels

Balancing Projects and Posts: What Do You Suggest?

I am a firm believer in the "wisdom of the crowd." All in all, I feel that if you ask the same question to enough people, the majority will give you the correct answer. So, I figured I might pick everyone's brains on this one.

A few panels to celebrate the summer with the original Agents of ENF. It's almost time to bid goodbye to these models (we updated them as much as possible, but the original models are from 2018).

First look at "Alex the Barbarian"

As promised, I have been working on the first short story from the Mind Society. The idea is to take scenes we planned for the Mind Society and turn them into short visual novels.

This particular story features Alex retelling a dream she had to the MC, assuming the player chose the "control" path with Alex. Maybe someday we'll get to stitch it back into the main game, but regardless, it works quite well as a stand-alone piece.
