Bon Animatronic - 3D Printing Files

Here are the 3D printing files for the Bon head, the animatronic we made from the Walten Files and for Make-a-Wish!

Our Print Settings:

Material: PLA
Layer Height: 0.28
Walls: 3
Infill: 15%

These aren't overly difficult objects to print so you can adjust settings as you see fit. When you're 3D printing parts for animatronics, you're often trying to balance weight vs. strength, so these settings work well for us.

Since this was a custom build using the skull head, we don't have any obvious mounting points. We did our best to fit what we had and then drilled some holes where we wanted it to screw into the headplate.

Also included in the files are "frame" pieces that we tested when we considered just printing a frame in TPU and wrapping it with fur. We didn't end up doing this but figured we'd include the parts anyway.

Your mileage may vary with how you mount these, but we hope they're useful to you if you're building Bon!
